Mahela: Captain of the Year

Congratulations to Sri Lankan cricket captain Mahela Jayawardene who received the “ICC Captain of the Year” award at the 2006 ICC awards. He was also selected as the captain of the “World ODI Team of the Year” which also features Sri Lanka’s spin wizard Muttiah Muralidaran. Muttiah Muralidaran and Kumar Sangakkara are featured in the “World Test Team of the Year”.
